Job Description
The ERP System Database Administrator will manage and optimize the On-Prem Deltek Vantagepoint enterprise software, collaborating with various teams to develop data management solutions, ensure compliance, and prepare for system upgrades. Responsibilities include managing user roles, creating reports, and conducting training sessions for users.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure maximum utilization of On-Prem Deltek Vantagepoint enterprise software.
- Collaborate with team members to assess business needs and develop data management solutions.
- Evaluate existing business and data management processes.
- Re-establish compliance across divisions.
- Update existing system functionality and reporting.
- Prepare the database for upcoming system upgrades.
- Manage user and security roles in the Deltek system.
- Create system workflows and ad-hoc/customized reports.
- Make application configuration changes as needed.
- Solicit user feedback on system functionality.
- Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions.
Requirements
- Experience with On-Prem Deltek Vantagepoint enterprise software.
- Ability to collaborate and interact with senior management, finance, IT, and project managers.
- Experience in evaluating existing business and data management processes.
- Ability to re-establish compliance across divisions as appropriate.
- Experience in managing user and security roles within an ERP system.
- Experience in creating system workflows, ad-hoc and customized reports, and making application configuration changes.
- Ability to solicit feedback from users on system functionality and expectations.
- Experience in preparing training materials and conducting training sessions for users in group, one-on-one, and remote environments.
- Completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, which consists of Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
