Job Description
The 2026 Summer Intern - Architecture position offers undergraduate and graduate architecture students hands-on experience in preparing construction documents, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and understanding project lifecycles across various sectors, primarily through office-based work with some flexible arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing construction documents and specifications for various projects
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to support project development
- Collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and engineering professionals across disciplines
- Contribute to project phases from schematic design to construction
Requirements
- Be an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BSArch) or a graduate student pursuing a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree.
- Be available to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime throughout the summer of 2026 from mid-May through mid-August.
- Have proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software skills.
- Be willing to work primarily from the office with the possibility of flexible hybrid work arrangements.
- Be able to contribute to preparing construction documents and specifications for projects in the educational, governmental, corporate, and industrial sectors.
- Be able to collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and multi-disciplinary engineering professionals including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural engineers.
- Be willing to participate in a structured internship program that includes formal software training, networking opportunities, mentorship, social events, and learning seminars.
- Upon acceptance of a conditional offer, complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
