Job Description
A Senior DevOps Engineer at Sword Health is responsible for optimizing and maintaining the company's scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure to support innovative digital health solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance deployment processes and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and optimize the platform's infrastructure for scalability, security, and reliability
- Lead efforts to enhance automation and improve deployment processes
- Ensure seamless integration of infrastructure changes across cross-functional teams
- Provide robust operational support for digital health technology
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field.
- Have proven experience in enhancing platform scalability, security, and reliability.
- Demonstrate strong skills in automation and improving deployment processes.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless infrastructure integration.
- Ability to lead efforts in optimizing infrastructure foundation and operational support for digital health technology.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
- Experience with security best practices in cloud and infrastructure environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with flexible working hours.
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
