Job Description
A Senior Android Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications that support Sword Health's AI-driven healthcare platform, contributing to making healthcare more accessible and cost-effective through innovative mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications for the AI Care platform
- Implement features to support healthcare services across various health domains
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable mobile solutions
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Experience in Android development with a focus on building and maintaining Android applications.
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages used for Android app development.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services into Android applications.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and ability to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Experience with testing frameworks and writing unit and UI tests for Android applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
