Job Description

The Regional Vice President, Health Plan Sales (Mental Health) is responsible for driving growth and building strategic partnerships with payers by promoting Sword's AI-driven mental health solutions, managing regional market development, and leading complex deal executions to expand the company's presence in the behavioral health sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth within the health plan segment by securing, expanding, and deepening strategic partnerships with payers focused on the Mental Health AI Care platform Mind
  • Own regional market development and build a high-quality sales pipeline
  • Lead or co-lead end-to-end deal execution for complex opportunities in the behavioral health space
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships and position Sword's AI-driven Mental Health solutions as a category-defining response to the mental health crisis
  • Accelerate enterprise adoption of the platform across all payer lines of business including commercial, self-funded, ACA, and Medicare
  • Collaborate with other Regional Vice Presidents to share market intelligence and align on national account strategies to grow Sword’s presence in the payer landscape

Requirements

  • Experience in driving growth within the health plan segment by securing, expanding, and deepening strategic partnerships with leading payers, with a focus on behavioral health or mental health solutions.
  • Proven ability to own regional market development, build a high-quality sales pipeline, and lead or co-lead end-to-end deal execution for complex and high-impact opportunities in the behavioral health space.
  • Demonstrated success as the primary commercial representative for AI-driven mental health solutions, including cultivating executive-level relationships and positioning solutions as category-defining answers to the mental health crisis.
  • Experience in accelerating enterprise adoption of mental health solutions across all payer lines of business including commercial group, self-funded, ACA, and Medicare.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team of Regional Vice Presidents, sharing market intelligence and aligning on national account strategies to accelerate growth within the health plan sectors.
  • Legal right to work in the United States; sponsorship for work visas or immigration will not be provided.
  • Full-time employment status with regular working hours of at least 25 hours per week.
