Job Description
The Head of Efficiency at Sword Health is responsible for optimizing company-wide processes, driving automation and AI adoption, and scaling operations efficiently to support global growth without significantly increasing costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead company-wide efficiency initiatives to optimize impact of resources, hires, and processes
- Drive automation and AI adoption across the organization
- Enhance visibility into operational performance and efficiency metrics
- Support scalable growth by improving operational workflows without increasing costs
- Collaborate with teams to implement strategies that enable sustainable growth
Requirements
- Must have a legal right to work in the United States; for candidates in Portugal, must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal; no immigration or work visa sponsorship will be provided for US applicants; this position does not offer relocation assistance.
- Full-time employment with a minimum of 25 hours per week.
- Experience leading company-wide efficiency initiatives, including building visibility, driving automation and AI adoption, and scaling operations globally.
- Proven ability to ensure every dollar, hire, and process becomes an impact multiplier to support company growth without doubling the cost base.
- Experience partnering across an organization to lead financial planning, analysis, and operations.
- Ability to ensure smart resource allocation, rigorous compliance, and provide strategic insights for informed decision-making and long-term impact.
- Strong skills in driving operational efficiency, automation, and AI adoption at a company-wide level.
- Demonstrated experience in scaling organizations and improving operational impact in a fast-growing environment.
