Job Description
The CFO at Swift Solar will lead the company's financial strategy, secure funding for manufacturing and growth, and build scalable financial systems to support the company's mission of advancing innovative solar technology and decarbonizing the grid.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's financing strategy
- Secure funding for manufacturing and growth initiatives
- Build scalable financial systems and support financial operations at scale
- Prepare materials for investor meetings and follow up with prospective investors
- Update financial models and conduct valuations for corporate and manufacturing needs
- Review cash forecasts and evaluate equipment purchasing decisions
- Develop cost controls and scenario plans to extend financial runway
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including closing books and tax filings
- Oversee insurance renewals and regulatory compliance
- Refine finance workflows and tools for efficiency
- Identify and manage financial risks proactively
- Shape and lead finance operations across the company
Requirements
- Have 10 years of experience in capital strategy, fundraising, and financial leadership ideally in manufacturing or deeptech.
- Be hands-on, adaptable, and thrive in ambiguity; be excited to build systems and finance processes from the ground up.
- Have structured and secured financing for complex, capital-intensive projects.
- Have successfully raised capital from a range of sources, including venture capitalists, strategics, and potentially government or non-dilutive sources.
