Job Description
A Technical Specialist supporting biofuels operations by ensuring compliance with standards, conducting audits, managing inventory and documentation, and providing technical support to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and conduct ISCC INS audits
- Maintain inventory control and biofuels and feedstock mass balance files
- Manage incoming and outgoing movement documentation
- Verify and forward greenhouse gas emission calculations
- Perform internal audits at critical control points
- Implement mitigation measures within the risk management framework
- Provide technical support to traders and operations
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Renewable Energy, or a similar field.
- Experience in bioliquids and/or feedstocks.
- Knowledge of RED regulations and voluntary schemes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advance in English written and spoken.
- Ability to prepare and conduct ISCC INS audits.
- Experience in inventory control and maintaining Biofuels and Feedstock mass balance files.
- Experience in receiving and completing all incoming and outgoing movement documentation.
- Ability to verify and forward individual greenhouse gas emission calculations.
- Experience in conducting internal audits at critical control points.
- Ability to implement mitigation measures within the risk management framework.
- Provide basic technical support to traders and operations.
