Senior Software Engineer

• Design and develop scalable services supporting the full trading lifecycle, from front-office origination to back-office settlement and reconciliation. • Create clean APIs, modular architectures, and data pipelines to ensure clarity, performance, and reliability across the digital platform. • Translate complex business processes into maintainable, production-ready software that scales with organizational needs. • Contribute to technical excellence by writing high-quality, well-tested code and participating in design/code reviews to raise team standards. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Trading, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Data teams to deliver robust, well-architected solutions. • Mentor and grow engineering talent, sharing best practices, modeling craftsmanship, and fostering a culture of clarity and accountability.

• 6-8+ years of experience building scalable, reliable software, ideally in fintech, trading platforms, or data-intensive systems. • Proficiency in TypeScript with strong backend experience in Python or Node.js, and hands-on experience with AWS, serverless, and event-driven architectures. • Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CDK/Terraform), Kubernetes, and cloud-native design patterns. • Strong system design and engineering fundamentals, including clean architecture, testing, and production-grade software development. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to bridge technical and business perspectives and give/receive constructive feedback. • Curiosity and growth mindset, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies like LLM-powered automation, serverless systems, and data-centric design. • Living in the Netherlands COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Competitive remuneration package Pension scheme contributions Strong focus on personal and professional development Sport and training opportunities
