Job Description
The Operations Director will lead and manage the organizational infrastructure of Spark Climate Solutions, overseeing strategy, finance, people, and operational systems to ensure effective functioning and support the organization's climate impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee organizational infrastructure to ensure effective operations
- Develop and implement operational strategy, finance, people, and culture systems
- Set strategic vision and direction for core operational functions
- Ensure smooth and efficient delivery of overall organizational operations
- Advise leadership on strategy and execution of operational functions
- Partner with development, program, and domain teams to support their operational needs
- Lead, mentor, and scale the operations team
Requirements
- Experience leading organizational infrastructure, including overseeing Operational Strategy, Finance, People and Culture, and operational systems.
- Ability to set the vision and strategic direction for operational functions and ensure smooth and efficient delivery of overall operations.
- Experience serving as a thought partner to leadership teams, advising on strategy and execution for operational functions.
- Experience partnering with development, program, and other domain management to support their work.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale an operations team, with experience managing a team currently consisting of at least 1.5 full-time equivalents (FTEs).
