Job Description Summary
SOLV Energy is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Warehouse & Logistics to build and lead warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics supporting our EPC operations and our full-lifecycle Utility Scale Renewable Power Plant Operations business. This leader will establish focus on the implementation of a new warehouse operation in Dallas, TX and then build a national warehouse network that supplies project sites from pooled inventory, improving material availability, delivery reliability, working capital performance, and inventory visibility.
The Director will directly lead a team of Regional Logistics Specialists who coordinate daily with Field Logistics and manage inbound and outbound inventory transactions. The role will also recruit and manage company-employed warehouse personnel, oversee third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse operators, and provide functional leadership to Field Logistics through dotted-line reporting relationships.
This role is based full time in office in Dallas, TX. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
