A senior leadership role responsible for developing, deploying, and scaling battery energy storage systems, overseeing projects from concept to construction readiness, and coordinating cross-functional teams to advance storage opportunities in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and scaling of battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects from concept through permitting, contracting, and construction readiness.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across Development, Engineering, Interconnection, Finance, Procurement, Construction, and Policy to execute storage projects.
Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership on storage-related matters.
Identify and advance market opportunities for storage deployment while establishing capabilities to scale the business.
Set technical and commercial guardrails for storage projects.
Drive project deployment and ensure projects reach construction readiness within the specified timeline.
Requirements
Experience leading battery storage projects from concept through permitting, contracting, and construction readiness, with hands-on expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across Development, Engineering, Interconnection, Finance, Procurement, Construction, and Policy to advance storage deployment projects.
Demonstrated success in advancing identified storage opportunities through deployment and establishing capabilities to scale BESS business, with the first pipeline of projects expected to reach construction readiness within one year.
Experience serving as the primary point of contact for executive leadership on all storage-related matters.
Ability to set technical and commercial guardrails for BESS projects.
Strong leadership skills in an execution-oriented senior role, with the ability to drive cross-functional execution across multiple teams.
Location in the NY NJ metro area with the ability to be in-office 3 to 4 days per week.
