The Director of Accounts Payable is a leadership role responsible for managing company-wide accounts payable operations, vendor relationships, cash planning, and treasury functions, ensuring accurate job cost allocation and subcontractor payment compliance in a construction-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee company-wide accounts payable operations
Manage vendor relationships and vendor management processes
Perform purchase order (PO) matching and reconciliation
Coordinate cash planning and cash flow forecasting
Supervise treasury operations
Ensure accurate job cost allocation and subcontractor payment compliance
Maintain cash visibility to support project performance and trade partner relationships
Implement process optimization and automation in accounts payable functions
Requirements
Deep accounts payable (AP) expertise with strong process optimization skills and modern automation experience
Experience overseeing company-wide accounts payable operations, vendor management, purchase order (PO) matching, and reconciliation processes
Experience managing cash planning, cash flow forecasting, and treasury operations
Experience in a construction environment with accurate job cost allocation and subcontractor payment compliance
Ability to ensure cash visibility that directly affects project performance and trade partner relationships
