Job Description
The Markets Policy Analyst supports the company's expansion by analyzing state-level regulatory frameworks, market structures, and legislative requirements to inform business decisions and facilitate the deployment of distributed clean energy across multiple markets in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the company's expansion and operations across multiple U.S. markets.
- Analyze and interpret state-level regulatory frameworks, market structures, and program requirements.
- Translate complex policy and market data into clear, actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Contribute to existing market optimization, new market development, and legislative and regulatory engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to shape distributed clean energy deployment strategies.
Requirements
- Support the company's expansion and operations across a growing portfolio of markets in the United States by developing a deep understanding of state-level regulatory frameworks, market structures, and program requirements.
- Translate complex policy, market, and regulatory information into clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions.
- Operate in a fast-moving environment with multiple concurrent priorities, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Support high-priority initiatives including existing market optimization, new market development, and legislative and regulatory engagement.
- Work flexibly across multiple markets, products, and workstreams based on business needs.
- Operate in a highly cross-functional role with exposure to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Be based in the NY NJ metro area and be in-office 3 to 4 days per week.
