Job Description
The Sr. Manager of Field Operations at SOLARCYCLE will oversee field services projects related to the recycling of solar panels, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and on-time project execution while managing budgets and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional onsite services for a wide range of customers.
- Plan, estimate, and budget for field services projects.
- Contract labor, equipment, and materials for field operations.
- Provide technical expertise for packaging, loading, and reverse logistics.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and site safety.
- Monitor and identify scope changes, calculate and negotiate change orders.
- Manage customer expectations and provide best-in-class customer service.
- Responsible for project scheduling, tracking, and forecasting.
- Own and track project budgets, providing regular updates.
- Drive process development and improvement.
- Quickly resolve customer-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business, Energy, or Construction Management.
- 5-10 years of proven experience in a construction, operations, or customer management role, preferably in the solar energy or recycling industries.
- Frequent domestic travel required, approximately 75% of the time.
- Strong leadership, task prioritization, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, technologies, logistics, and recycling.
- Ability to provide technical expertise remotely or onsite for packaging, loading, reverse logistics, and other operations associated with end-of-life solar panels.
- Confirm regulatory compliance is sharply adhered to and ensure site safety and best practices are applied to all work performed on project sites.
