Job Description
The Machine Operator at SOLARCYCLE will be responsible for operating and maintaining recycling equipment on the solar panel recycling line, ensuring efficient processing of materials while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate recycling equipment to process materials
- Perform daily preventative maintenance and cleaning on equipment
- Complete machine adjustments, repairs, and troubleshoot equipment
- Ensure the line is fed with quality raw materials
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules
- Maintain high standards of area housekeeping
- Communicate with leadership regarding downtime events
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Combination of additional education and experience.
- Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work and communicate well with others.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Must be able to work first shift.
- Responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, including lock-out tag-out procedures.
- Responsible for adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules.
- Must have good attendance and be a self-starter.
