A Credit Controller role focused on managing and improving the end-to-end credit and collections process, including customer onboarding, cash application, rebate recovery, and proactive account management to optimize cash flow and credit risk in a fast-growing renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and improve the end-to-end credit and collections process from customer onboarding to cash application and rebate recovery
Proactively monitor account ageing and payment behaviour
Identify and implement practical improvements to strengthen credit controls and cash flow
Balance hands-on collections activities with data analysis to optimize credit risk management
Requirements
Proven experience in credit control, collections, or accounts receivable management, with a focus on managing and improving the end-to-end credit and collections process from customer onboarding through to cash application and rebate recovery.
Ability to proactively manage accounts by monitoring ageing and payment behaviour, and identify practical improvements to strengthen credit controls and cash flow.
Strong data analysis skills to support credit risk assessment and continuous process improvement.
Commercial awareness and understanding of credit management principles relevant to a fast-paced, growing environment.
Availability to work on-site at the Byron Bay HQ from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and reside in the Northern Rivers region.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.
Ability to balance hands-on collections activities with data analysis and process improvements.
