Job Description
A Credit Controller role focused on managing and improving the end-to-end credit and collections process, including customer onboarding, cash application, rebate recovery, and proactive account management to optimize cash flow and credit risk in a fast-growing renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and improve the end-to-end credit and collections process from customer onboarding to cash application and rebate recovery
- Proactively monitor account ageing and payment behaviour
- Identify and implement practical improvements to strengthen credit controls and cash flow
- Balance hands-on collections activities with data analysis to optimize credit risk management
Requirements
- Proven experience in credit control, collections, or accounts receivable management, with a focus on managing and improving the end-to-end credit and collections process from customer onboarding through to cash application and rebate recovery.
- Ability to proactively manage accounts by monitoring ageing and payment behaviour, and identify practical improvements to strengthen credit controls and cash flow.
- Strong data analysis skills to support credit risk assessment and continuous process improvement.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of credit management principles relevant to a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Availability to work on-site at the Byron Bay HQ from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and reside in the Northern Rivers region.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Ability to balance hands-on collections activities with data analysis and process improvements.
