Job Description
The Sourcing Specialist supports procurement, contracting, logistics, and vendor management for renewable energy projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance of owner-furnished equipment while collaborating with internal teams and maintaining supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute procurement strategies for Owner-Furnished Equipment (OFE) to meet project requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and support equipment purchasing processes.
- Track OFE deliveries and coordinate logistics to prevent delays.
- Maintain supplier relationships and ensure quality, cost, and delivery expectations are met.
- Ensure supplier contracts align with project schedules and technical specifications.
- Support compliance with domestic content regulations by obtaining and maintaining supplier certifications.
- Maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Monitor and report on cost trends, pricing, and equipment availability.
- Manage invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payment schedules for budget tracking.
- Partner with project management and operations teams to address procurement needs and resolve supply chain issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract administration, preferably in renewables, construction, or a related industry.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High attention to detail with strong data management and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with contracts negotiation, logistics coordination, and/or renewable energy procurement (preferred).
