The Manager, Accounting and Reporting will lead the company's accounting functions, improve processes, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and support financial reporting and audit activities to prepare the organization for future growth and IPO readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Lead process improvement initiatives across the close and reporting cycle to support scalability and IPO readiness
Contribute to systems enhancements, accounting policy development, and strategic projects
Partner with FP&A and Finance teams on monthly and quarterly consolidated reporting and variance analysis
Mentor and develop senior and staff accountants, providing supervision and coaching
Manage financial statement reporting and compliance for designated projects, including audits
Oversee critical balance sheet and income statement areas during the monthly, quarterly, and annual close
Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting analyses
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP in financial reporting
Design, implement, and enhance internal controls and frameworks in line with public-company standards
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
CPA certification is strongly preferred
6-8 years of work experience in finance or accounting roles
Experience with US GAAP, implementation of internal controls, and ERP software such as SAP or Oracle
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and technical accounting concepts
Deep understanding of internal controls, SOX-style frameworks, and audit requirements, with a mindset toward public-company standards
Proven ability to build, improve, and scale accounting processes in a fast-growing environment
Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative, with the ability to operate effectively across functions
