The Associate, Policy Government Affairs supports the company's development and operational efforts by monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory developments at the state and federal levels, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and providing strategic insights to inform renewable energy policy strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Track, analyze, and report on legislative and regulatory developments impacting company operations and development efforts
Perform research and provide insights to inform legislative and government relations strategies
Distribute relevant policy information to internal stakeholders
Identify opportunities for coalition-building related to policy issues
Evaluate policies for potential replication in other jurisdictions
Support legislative engagement coordination with third parties such as lobbyists and state agencies
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
1-3 years of work experience in state or federal legislative affairs, public policy, or energy policy, with a preference for candidates familiar with renewable energy or infrastructure-related policy
Experience or technical exposure to the US renewable energy market, project development, or interconnection is desirable
