Job Description
A Senior Drafter Designer responsible for leading drafting efforts, creating detailed 2D and 3D models, and supporting capital infrastructure projects within a manufacturing environment focused on advanced battery materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead drafting efforts for capital projects and operational needs
- Create and maintain detailed 3D models and 2D construction drawings using AutoCAD Plant 3D and Revit
- Collaborate with engineering teams and external partners for design reviews and compliance
- Coordinate with project managers to track equipment installation and update as-built documentation
- Establish and maintain drafting standards and documentation structures
Requirements
- Five years of professional experience in drafting and design for industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to create and update P ID drawings, Isometrics, and 3D models.
- Expert-level knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D is required.
- Proficiency in Revit is a significant plus.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing technical drawings and specifications for complex facility upgrades.
- Background in an engineering or technical design discipline.
- Proven ability to communicate technical designs effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Must be based in Alameda, CA, with a willingness to travel to Moses Lake, WA, or be permanently located in Moses Lake, WA.
- Ability to move long distances and remain stationary for extended periods.
- Willingness to work on active build sites for extensive periods.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $110,000 to $138,000
Work environment: Onsite in Alameda, CA, with travel to Moses Lake, WA or permanent relocation to Moses Lake, WA
