Job Description
The role involves coordinating and supporting the recruitment process through scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting with HR operations to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience at Sila, a company focused on advanced battery materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm in-person and virtual interviews, managing logistics and candidate greeting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing support and prompt responses
- Assist in posting job openings and advertising positions through various channels
- Maintain candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Provide administrative support to the Talent Team, including scheduling and coordinating interviews and events
- Coordinate communication between hiring managers and candidates for interviews and hiring processes
- Support HR functions such as career fairs and recruiting events
Requirements
- 0-1 year of experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative roles
- Prior office-based work experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally in person
- Proficiency in Google Suite Gmail, Sheets, and Docs
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment
- Ability to move long distances such as from building to building and be stationary for extended periods of time
- Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier, and printer in a fixed location
- Regular attendance at the office in Alameda, CA, with the ability to commute to the office
- Work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $25/hr to $30/hr
Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
