Job Description

The Sales Development Representative will proactively identify and reach out to construction teams to introduce Shape's software, set up demos, and build strong relationships that drive growth. This role requires a high-energy, people-focused individual who is passionate about helping potential customers improve their processes through innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and reach out to construction teams to introduce Shape and set up demos.
  • Continuously improve outreach strategy using data and insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts.
  • Engage in learning and development to sharpen sales skills and share best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, construction tech, or digital solutions.
  • Must be very comfortable and confident doing cold calls.
  • Ability to engage decision-makers and guide them through a sales process.
  • Confident and engaging communicator who can make complex ideas simple and compelling.
  • Ability to work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts.
  • High-energy, people-focused sales person who sees sales as a way of helping people.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, taking ownership of conversations and driving sales strategies.
  • Ability to read between the lines, spot opportunities, and adapt approach based on what’s working.
