We are hiring Mechanical Engineers at multiple levels in Lewiston, ID.

Consulting
Plastic part design
Design for manufacturability reviews
FEA - mold flow analysis
Tooling Design
Quoting internal tool builds
Writing mold specifications, getting external tooling quotes, and managing the project including review of vendor tool designs
Mold design
Future tooling design opportunities may include press brake tooling, punch tooling, progressive dies, and other areas as Vertical Integration continues to grow.
Other Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Perform the following mechanical engineering functions: -- assembly design -- plastic and metal part design -- tolerance studies -- design for manufacturability/assembly -- component selection and specification -- thermal analysis and design 2. Qualify and monitor tooling vendors.
Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Material. Provide accurate labor and material estimates.
Review, support, approve and provide recommendations for improvements to documentation, mechanical designs, and manufacturing process design.
Maintain current and accurate project notebooks.
Mentor ME Interns, Designers, and Associate ME’s.
Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Understand. Create. Simplify.
