Key Responsibilities
Complete EH&S processes in accordance with defined procedures under the direction of more experienced staff.
Provide status updates to SEL staff and customers. Communicates effectively with team and internal partners and customers.
Learn and follow department processes while communicating opportunities for improvement to documentation or work instructions.
Provide awareness of EH&S standards.
Represent team by participating in collaborative problem solving and process improvement efforts.
Develop basic proficiency in the activities required to support one EH&S discipline (e.g., risk assessment and incident management, waste management, industrial hygiene).
Learn and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operation, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Understand. Create. Simplify.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Two years’ experience working with EH&S
Experience with materials management processes
Ability to read and interpret regulatory standards
Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently
Sit and stand for at least 8 hours
Vision correctable to 20/30 or better
Ability to differentiate color
Use of computer keyboard devices
