Job Description
Basic Function: The Manager, Grid Integration will support the interconnection, transmission, and commissioning activities for large-load (data center) projects and utility-scale generation and in ERCOT.
Key Responsibilities
- Support large-load interconnection and generator interconnection activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of ERCOT interconnection requests, RARFs, and related documentation.
- Assist in reviewing interconnection applications, study agreements, and interconnection agreements.
- Coordinate with ERCOT, transmission providers, utilities, consultants, and internal project teams.
- Track project milestones to help maintain development schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in power systems, transmission planning, grid integration, utility engineering, or renewable energy development.
- Working knowledge of ERCOT generator and/or large-load interconnection processes.
- Understanding of transmission planning concepts and power system fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with ERCOT protocols and market operations.
- Familiarity with FERC interconnection processes.
- Experience with power system software such as PSS®E, PSLF, TARA, or PowerWorld.
- Exposure to Python, SQL, or data analytics tools.
- Experience supporting utility-scale renewable energy, battery storage, or data center projects.

- Base Pay - $140,000 - $165000 The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks—while ensuring internal parity across our teams. The compensation range provided reflects base pay. Total rewards may also include performance-based bonuses, equity grants, and a market leading comprehensive health and wellness benefits package. Final details will be discussed during the later stages of the hiring process.
