The qualified candidate will oversee hyper-scale data center projects from site due diligence, campus planning, conceptual/schematic/detailed design through construction documents, and construction administration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead data center due diligence and design teams to deliver projects that meet the client’s requirements, on schedule and to a high degree of quality. Design disciplines will include architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, fire protection, ICT, and BMS/EPMS.
Develop and enforce multi-site project and program management plans.
Host and attend meetings with clients and external stakeholders.
Proactively manage and communicate change throughout the project
Identify problems early and develop creative solutions.
Proactively communicate with all stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve outstanding issues.
Develop technical and financial proposals for new and add/move/change data center design projects
Develop trusting relationships with client stakeholders/buyers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Experience with data center design management & engineering
Lean Six Sigma Certification
Active or recent leadership in data center and mission-critical trade organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in dynamic
Team leadership skills
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Location: Redwood City, CA; San Diego, CA; Denver CO; Texas preferred.
Base Pay - $140,000-$180,000
The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks—while ensuring internal parity across our teams. In addition to competitive base pay, total compensation may include a discretionary annual bonus and a market leading comprehensive health and wellness benefits package.
