Job Description
The IT Specialist role involves managing and supporting cloud-based collaboration tools, configuring communication systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and improving IT processes to support the company's rapid growth and digital transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support SaaS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
- Deploy, configure, and manage cloud-based communication systems including call routing, IVR, and softphones.
- Respond to escalated IT support tickets and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Document IT policies, procedures, and system configurations.
- Plan and implement tools and services to enhance workplace collaboration and productivity.
- Maintain and improve company security and operational efficiency through core IT functions.
- Mentor new IT team members and support organizational growth.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working in an IT Role.
- Experience working with Okta and Google Workspace.
- Minimum of 2 years of Tier II escalation support experience.
- Must reside in Canada.
- Demonstrate strong admin experience in managing SaaS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
- Have a solid understanding of Okta, including app integrations and automating rules.
- Experience deploying and managing systems that foster collaboration and productivity at scale.
- Experience planning and integrating tools and services which run workplaces.
- Experience configuring and managing cloud-based telephone systems, including call routing, IVR management, system integration with CRM, and end-user handsets softphones.
- Knowledge of Apple products such as Macbooks and iPhones.
- Ability to maintain an escalated tickets queue and respond to requests in a helpful and timely way.
- Ability to document IT policies and procedures.
- Ability to seek opportunities to improve workflows with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Experience driving core operations that keep the company secure and productive.
- Ability to mentor new hires as the organization grows quickly.
- Ability to work both east coast and west coast hours.
