Job Description

This role involves analyzing sales team performance, providing strategic insights, and supporting sales growth initiatives within a remote, collaborative environment at Samsara, a company focused on IoT solutions for physical operations across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose sales team performance using analytical models and data insights
  • Act as a thought partner to sales leadership by providing data-driven perspectives and recommendations
  • Identify and drive initiatives to scale business segments and achieve sales growth targets
  • Identify risks to growth goals and develop action plans to mitigate them
  • Support quarterly business activities and prepare executive materials such as memos, slides, and business reviews

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in analytical roles such as Consulting, Business Operations, or Sales Operations.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a sense of ownership.
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills and the ability to lead discussions.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and single-handedly manage multiple projects while staying focused on what matters most.
  • Highly communicative and able to move fast in a remote working environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiastic about improving sales performance.
  • Deep comfort with data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Tableau, and/or willingness to expand skill set to tackle new problems.
  • Fully fluent in English.
  • Support quarterly business activities and development of executive materials including executive briefing memos, sales kickoff slides, business reviews, and executive presentations.
  • Evaluate and diagnose sales team performance and own analytical models and sources of insights such as performance forecasting and productivity models.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to help scale business segments to achieve sales growth targets.
  • Identify risks to growth goals and develop action plans to mitigate those risks.
