Job Description

A Software Engineer responsible for designing and developing customer experience platforms, integrating AI and data analytics to enhance customer feedback insights, and building scalable solutions within the Post-Sales Systems team at Samsara.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Voice of the Customer (VOC) programs on the Qualtrics XM Platform, including surveys, automations, and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Qualtrics and other systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, and Databricks using APIs and enterprise iPaaS platforms such as Workato.
  • Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle of projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Design and deploy AI-powered models to analyze unstructured customer feedback and identify key drivers of sentiment and friction points.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to deliver data-driven insights to improve the customer journey.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in Qualtrics administration and development, with deep expertise in the XM Platform, including survey design, workflow automation, and dashboard development
  • 2 years of experience with text analytics platforms e.g., Qualtrics Discover, including building and tuning sentiment models from unstructured data
  • 1 year of experience building and maintaining integrations using an enterprise iPaaS platform e.g., Workato, Zapier
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and consuming APIs to connect and automate processes across different platforms
  • Strong logical and data modeling skills, with the ability to ingest and clean data from various sources to ensure data integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects from end-to-end, delivering high-quality results on schedule
