Job Description
Samsara is seeking early-career Software Engineers to join various engineering teams, where they will design and develop features that enhance the Connected Operations Cloud platform, tackling challenges related to data collection and analytics for IoT applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop features across a broad surface area.
- Architect data structures for mass data collection.
- Present data analytics in intuitive and performant ways on web and mobile.
- Scale data ingestion and storage systems for connected devices.
- Develop user interfaces that present data collected from devices.
- Work with design and product teams to identify solutions and iterate based on feedback.
- Enable feature teams to iterate quickly and write performant code.
Requirements
- You will complete a Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science between Fall Winter 2024 - Summer 2025.
- This role is open to candidates residing in Canada.
- Experience developing software in the following stacks: Backend, Infrastructure Golang, Node.js, Python w Django, Ruby, or Java w Spring Boot.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Fullstack, Frontend technologies such as Typescript, JavaScript, React, Vue.js, Svelte, or Angular.
- Experience with Fullstack, Backend technologies such as GraphQL, Rest, Apollo, or Relay and No SQL databases such as Mongo DB or DynamoDB.
- Experience with Mobile Infrastructure technologies such as Swift or Kotlin and React, Flutter, Xamarin, or Ionic.
- Ability to work on production applications as demonstrated by multiple repositories in GitHub.

Compensation/salary range: 93,075 - 120,450 CAD
