Job Description
A full stack engineer responsible for developing end-to-end solutions for managing and monitoring unpowered equipment and trailers using IoT technologies, contributing to the digital transformation of physical operations across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end solutions for equipment tracking, load monitoring, and asset management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, customer success, and ML engineers to deploy scalable IoT solutions.
- Mentor other engineers and participate in design and implementation discussions to ensure technical excellence.
- Advocate for long-term technical health and stability of products while addressing customer needs.
- Contribute to building scalable, reliable, and customer-focused IoT software, firmware, and hardware systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of relevant industry experience in software development.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages or frameworks: Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React.
- Strong programming coding fundamentals.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage technical discussions.
- Experience building and shipping a 0-1 product and understanding how to scale for growth and business impact post that phase.
- Experience working with machine learning engineers and applied scientists to deploy machine learning models to production.
- Understanding of how to build for stability and growth while being responsive to customer feedback.
- Prior experience working with geolocation data.
