Job Description

The role involves leading competitive intelligence efforts by researching and analyzing competitors, developing strategic insights, and creating sales enablement materials to support go-to-market strategies and improve win rates across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage competitive intelligence for a specific set of competitors, including research, insight delivery, and program execution.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on competitors, providing guidance on positioning and winning strategies.
  • Synthesize research into actionable insights and tactics for various teams such as GTM, Product, Marketing, Operations, and senior leadership.
  • Translate market and competitive signals into strategic recommendations for positioning, messaging, product development, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and deliver enablement assets, battlecards, playbooks, and training to support sales and success teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Enablement to keep competitive content current and accessible.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to scale research, insights, and operational workflows.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B product marketing, market and competitive intelligence, strategy consulting, and/or sales, e.g., former account executive or sales engineer.
  • Proven success leading complex cross-functional projects across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product.
  • Seller-centric marketer with an understanding of the day-to-day life of sales leaders and sellers, with a proven track record of reducing cognitive load for GTM teams.
  • Customer-centric marketer with an understanding of the end-to-end funnel, including creating pipeline, converting it, and retaining customers, with a proven track record of developing digestible and impactful customer-facing materials.
  • Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) and GPTs regularly to accelerate daily output and efficiency.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical ideas into bold, strategic narratives and playbooks.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Advanced education (e.g., advanced degree candidates) preferred and will be prioritized.
  • Ability to own competitive intelligence end-to-end for a specific set of competitors, including research, insight delivery, knowledge base development and maintenance, enablement, and win-loss analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize research into actionable insights and tactics for GTM, Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and senior executive audiences.
  • Ability to translate market and competitive signals into clear recommendations that inform positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, product roadmap development and prioritization, M&A, and more.
  • Experience developing and supporting scalable assets such as battlecards, playbooks, and training materials for Sales and Success teams.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Enablement to keep competitive content current and accessible.
  • Experience in using AI, including automating repeatable manual processes with AI agents and workflows to scale impact.
  • Ability to recognize repeatable tasks and processes and proactively automate them with AI agents, with examples to discuss or present.

Annual Base Salary: $119,297.50 - $200,500 USD
