Job Description
This role is a leadership position within Samsara's Global Partnerships team, responsible for developing and managing go-to-market partnerships across public and private sectors to drive sales, expand the company's ecosystem, and support the digital transformation of industries reliant on physical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Partner Account Managers and execute the Public Sector partnerships strategy
- Build and scale Public Sector channel motions (tier 1 and tier 2) and develop key strategic go-to-market programs with partners
- Identify, develop, and nurture relationships with strategic partners to drive pipeline and sales outcomes
- Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for partner-driven growth
- Develop scalable programs with partners to accelerate sales and ensure customer success
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or sales with meaningful experience building and managing teams
- A track record of architecting and building scaled partnership motions that deliver sourced pipeline and accelerate sales outcomes
- Specific experience building scaled Public Sector channel motions (tier 1, tier 2) is desired
- Experience working with Carahsoft
- Experience in B2B technology or within a B2B technology ecosystem
- Experience with FirstNet solutions
- Experience orchestrating complex multi-vendor deals
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves; no task is too big or small
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
