Job Description

The Senior Customer Lifecycle Manager is responsible for designing and executing customer engagement campaigns throughout their journey, leveraging data and cross-functional collaboration to drive adoption, retention, and measurable results in a global SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement impactful customer lifecycle campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies
  • Develop scalable processes for managing lifecycle programs and measuring their results
  • Optimize customer journeys through experimentation and data analysis
  • Lead end-to-end lifecycle strategy, including segmentation, messaging, and performance analysis
  • Establish reporting to track campaign effectiveness and inform decision-making
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and maintain stakeholder visibility

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, customer marketing, and or digital customer programs in a global B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of market segmentation, customer journey mapping, and campaign automation.
  • History of successfully launching end-to-end lifecycle programs and experience investing in the right levers to drive impactful results.
  • Highly skilled at managing complex projects with multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and delivering exceptional quality, earning recognition as a strategic operator by peers and leadership.
  • Demonstrates curiosity at every opportunity to deeply understand the customer, uncover their behaviors, motivations, challenges, and goals, and weave these insights into strategies and campaigns.
  • Exceptional copywriting and creative skills, with the ability to deliver strong and effective content.
  • Exhibits excellent judgment and a passion for data-based decision-making and experimentation.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Cross-functional collaborator with strong listening skills rooted in empathy to develop authentic relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with product, data, and content teams.
  • Familiarity with regional data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
  • Experience managing localization and translation processes for marketing content.
  • Experience using Iterable or another Email Service Provider (ESP).
  • Email coding experience with HTML and CSS (considered a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year institution.
