Job Description
The Content Strategist at Samsara will craft compelling narratives and develop scalable content programs to enhance brand awareness and engage various audiences. This role involves data-driven storytelling, content creation for multiple channels, and collaboration with various teams to optimize communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data storytelling for Comms, identifying story angles and building content programs.
- Build and implement corporate narrative and messaging around key Communications programs.
- Support content development for corporate reports like the annual Impact Report.
- Partner with various teams to lead and shape proactive content series and integrated campaigns.
- Optimize stories for impact across channels in collaboration with the Content Team.
- Manage the approval process to ensure stakeholder review and approval of projects.
- Interface with vendors, creative agencies, and freelancers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related field.
- 6 years of professional writing experience.
- 5 years content strategy experience and in creating content for multichannel programs, including for social.
- Ability to quickly interpret and adapt to feedback from multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work and thrive in both independent and group scenarios.
- Great at managing relationships and a positive attitude.
- Travel required up to 10%.
