Job Description

The Inside Sales Manager at Samsara leads and develops a team of account executives, focusing on selling IoT solutions to mid-sized organizations across various industries, with an emphasis on building customer relationships, coaching sales strategies, and driving revenue growth in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of account executives, providing coaching on sales strategy and pipeline management
  • Hire, onboard, and develop new account executives to ensure team growth and success
  • Manage cross-functional projects and collaborate with other teams to solve problems
  • Create training content and support professional development for team members
  • Provide feedback and performance evaluations to account executives
  • Drive team achievement of quarterly sales targets and forecast pipeline accurately

Requirements

  • Proven performance owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close, with a strong track record of overachievement and experience coaching a team on outbounding
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended time-frames
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with public speaking
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills
  • Self-starter and adaptable to change
  • Continued growth mindset to learn a unique industry
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision making in current role
  • Demonstrated ability to provide upwards feedback to management
  • Ability to analyze and accurately forecast existing pipeline
  • Existing team lead experience is strongly preferred
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in utilizing tools such as SFDC, SalesLoft, Gong
  • Minimum requirements for the role include a consistent track record of success in owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close, and a proven performance of overachievement with experience coaching a team on outbounding
  • Ability to build genuine relationships with customers and understand their business needs
  • Residing in Canada, as this is a remote position open to candidates in Canada

Annual OTE salary range of CAD 215,900 to CAD 279,400
