Job Description
The Account Development Representative (ADR) role at Samsara involves generating leads, mapping enterprise accounts, and building demand for the company's IoT products, serving as a foundational position for a career in Software as a Service sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Search for leads and map enterprise accounts
- Build demand for Samsara's full line of products
- Make 30-50 cold calls daily to prospective customers
- Manage inbound lead flow and qualify leads
- Execute outbound campaigns to generate new leads
- Identify and map organizational structures to find key decision-makers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product-focused marketing campaigns
Requirements
- Willingness to make 30-50 cold calls a day.
- Willingness to travel to the Atlanta, GA or Phoenix, AZ city centers.
- Ability to manage inbound lead flow, qualify leads, and distribute them to appropriate sales representatives.
- Experience in executing outbound campaigns to engage potential customers and generate new leads.
- Ability to identify and map organizational structures to pinpoint key decision-makers within prospective accounts.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop product-focused marketing campaigns that support sales objectives.
- Demonstrated resilience to handle rejection and continue making sales calls.
- Ability to learn about the sales funnel and observe the full sales cycle - from generating a lead to closing a deal.
