Job Description
The Order Management Specialist at Samsara will be responsible for reviewing customer contracts, processing orders accurately, and ensuring compliance with internal policies. This role involves collaboration with various teams to enhance order accuracy and streamline processes within the Finance organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer orders prior to shipping for accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile customer order information against the internal system of record.
- Coordinate with Sales, Sales Ops, and Deal Desk to resolve order discrepancies.
- Respond to Sales inquiries regarding opportunity status and closure process.
- Collaborate with global peers to identify solutions for common order issues.
- Identify and support implementation of improvements to streamline order review process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on company projects.
- Support the generation and maintenance of reporting dashboards for order volume and activity.
Requirements
- 2 years of professional work experience.
- Professional-level written and verbal fluency in English.
- Excellent attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset and openness to feedback.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to work during Pacific time zone business hours.
- Ability to work extended hours during month and quarter end.
