Job Description
The Account Development Representative at Samsara is responsible for generating demand and qualifying leads to support the company's IoT solutions across various industries, with opportunities for career growth and skill development in enterprise technology sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound leads and execute outbound strategies to build a sales pipeline.
- Drive growth and demand for Samsara's product line.
- Develop enterprise technology sales skills through mentorship and hands-on experience.
Requirements
- High level of interest in the IoT space.
- Excitement around growing a sales career.
- Comfortability in a dynamic, customer facing environment.
- Previous cold calling experience.
- Motivation to be in a goal-oriented, quota-carrying role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in French.
- Ability to average 60-80 calls daily.
- Interest in developing enterprise technology sales skills through direct mentorship from top-tier executives.
- Ability to qualify inbound leads and execute outbound strategies to build a robust pipeline for Samsara’s full product line.
- Resilience to handle rejection and continue making calls.
- Interest in driving growth and demand for Samsara’s products.
- Ability to work in a hybrid position, with residence in Toronto, Canada.
- Legal right to work in the specified work location.
