Job Description

The role involves developing and managing analyst engagement programs to enhance the company's visibility and credibility within the industry, building strong relationships with key analysts and influencers, and collaborating across teams to position the company's products and market presence effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own strategic analyst engagement programs to drive ongoing engagement and education.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key industry and market analysts and oversee the company's relationships with analyst firms.
  • Advise internal teams on analyst engagement strategies and market dynamics, and establish success metrics for AR programs.
  • Educate the analyst community on company direction, product roadmaps, and customer stories.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, marketing, investor relations, and communications to position products in analyst research and market reports.
  • Create joint content with analysts, such as webinars and ROI studies, and incorporate analyst insights into company positioning and events.
  • Educate internal teams on analyst perspectives and materials to leverage in customer and prospect interactions.
  • Develop presentations and readouts to increase the company's visibility and presence in the analyst community.
  • Apply a data-driven approach to improve the company's standing in analyst reports.

Requirements

  • 12 years of specialized experience in the Analyst Relations and Communications functions at a high-growth scaling technology company.
  • Ability to develop, launch, and scale a comprehensive Analyst Relations function from scratch for a growing global B2B enterprise software company.
  • Experience managing vendor evaluations related to cloud data management, IoT, cloud software, and/or to Gartner Magic Quadrants, IDC MarketScapes, and Forrester Waves, and similar reports.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers, leading industry analysts, and analyst firms, as well as securing coverage.
  • Able to manage cross-functional teams and influence others without authority, including senior management.
  • Strategic, analytical, and a creative problem solver who is also a self-starter, highly collaborative, and thoughtfully communicative.
  • Strong project, organizational, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
  • Technical- and business-benefit understanding of prevailing and emerging technologies.
  • BS or BA degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, or a related technical field.
