Job Description
The Director of Workplace Operations will lead and manage the Workplace Operations and Experience teams across America, overseeing physical office facilities, hospitality services, and regional hub managers. This role involves driving operational improvements, managing complex projects, and developing sustainable workplace programs to enhance employee experience and optimize real estate utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Workplace Operations and Experience teams across America.
- Oversee physical office facilities and deliver exceptional hospitality services.
- Spearhead complex projects and drive continuous operational improvements.
- Optimize real estate portfolio and develop sustainable workplace programs.
- Manage operations in multiple leased and service office locations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for essential services.
- Develop forecasts and manage the workplace operations budget.
- Collaborate with business units to design and implement workplace plans.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on workplace operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in facilities management, real estate, or workplace operations, with an emphasis on multi-site management.
- 5 years of leadership experience managing teams across multiple locations and organizational levels.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with operating a NNN lease building is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Deep understanding of facilities management best practices, operational standards, and site assessment methodologies.
- Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with a history of developing scalable long-term operational strategies.
- Proficient interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to work from the San Francisco HQ a minimum of two days per week.
- Able to travel as needed to regional hubs where team members are based.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: 115,920 - 207,000 USD
Hybrid work schedule: at least 2 days per week in the San Francisco office
