Job Description
An Associate Product Manager at Samsara participates in a structured training program to gain hands-on experience managing IoT-based products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the development and launch of new features that enhance operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in formal training programs to develop core product management skills.
- Gather customer and stakeholder feedback through structured beta programs.
- Manage the end-to-end launch of new features, including enabling customer and internal team adoption.
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Marketing teams to develop new features and manage a small product roadmap.
- Measure and analyze the success of new features during and after rollout.
Requirements
- A minimum of a 3.5 GPA in a relevant technical field.
- Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical discipline, with the degree to be completed by the time of joining Samsara, targeting Spring 2026.
- Experience building a product, a startup, an application, a nonprofit, or equivalent as a founding member or co-founder.
- 0 years of experience in a full-time product management role; product management internships are acceptable.
- Prior evidence of strong intellectual curiosity and leadership skills.
- Gleaning insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Bias-for-action and willingness to get hands dirty to help the team and impact customers.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and structured thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
