Job Description
A sales role focused on bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers, involving building relationships, managing trials, and closing deals to help improve physical operations across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Samsara's business by selling IoT solutions to mid-sized customers
- Conduct product demonstrations, manage trials, and negotiate pricing with multiple stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, including executives and CXOs
- Research and prospect new business opportunities through cold calling and industry knowledge
- Learn and understand customers' business operations to tailor solutions effectively
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
- Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 USD in annual revenue.
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
- Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
- Experience with high-volume cold calling.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
- Familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce.com).
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Reside in the US within the MST, PST, or CST time zones.
