Job Description

The Account Development Representative at Samsara is responsible for generating leads, mapping enterprise accounts, and building demand for IoT-based products to support the company's go-to-market strategy, with opportunities for career growth in enterprise technology sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Search for leads and map enterprise accounts to identify potential customers
  • Build demand for Samsara's products through outbound campaigns and outreach
  • Qualify leads and distribute them to sales team members
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within prospective organizations
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to develop product-focused campaigns

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to make 50 cold calls a day.
  • At least 3 months of sales experience and or sales prospecting ability, which can include sales-related coursework, sales competitions, etc.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year Bachelor’s degree program.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and embed AI usage into day-to-day operations.
