Job Description

The Account Development Representative (ADR) at Samsara is responsible for generating sales opportunities through outbound outreach, engaging with prospective customers, and driving pipeline growth. This role offers training and career advancement opportunities within a high-performance sales environment focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) and SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Source pipelines for EMEA business through outbound outreach
  • Conduct personalized outreach to prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Participate in trade shows and events to represent the Samsara brand
  • Maintain meticulous records of interactions with accounts in Salesforce.com
  • Become a product expert and learn the Samsara selling methodology
  • Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles

Requirements

  • 1-3 years professional experience, ideally in customer facing roles
  • 6-12 months sales experience as a minimum
  • Highly motivated and committed, with strong desire to work in target driven sales
  • Proven track record of consistent over achievement of targets expectations of previous roles
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Curious and able to ask insightful questions
  • A champion of a Growth Mindset
  • Highly proficient in English and fluent in German
  • Ability to work remote from Germany, France, The Netherlands, or the United Kingdom
  • Willingness to work during CEST hours
