Job Description
The R D Technician will contribute to the development and scaling of advanced graphite production technologies for energy and manufacturing applications, working in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on scientific rigor and technical ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development to scale graphite technology from lab to commercial production.
- Perform technical experiments and analyze data to improve graphite manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize process parameters and ensure quality.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Research and Development (R D) Technician or in a similar technical role related to advanced materials, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and processes related to materials science, chemistry, or engineering, including handling and testing advanced materials such as graphite.
- Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation used in materials research and development.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a laboratory environment, including handling hazardous materials safely.
- Educational background in a relevant field such as Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with at least an associate's degree or higher.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed technical instructions, protocols, and documentation accurately.
- Experience in scaling laboratory processes to pilot or commercial production levels is preferred but not explicitly mandatory.
- Physical ability to perform laboratory work, including standing for extended periods, manual handling of materials, and operating laboratory equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a laboratory setting.
- Strong communication skills to document findings, collaborate with team members, and contribute to technical reports and presentations.
