Job Description
An entry-level Project Manager I role focused on supporting ecological restoration projects through project coordination, stakeholder communication, and fieldwork, helping to deliver environmental solutions from concept to completion within a collaborative and mission-driven team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project delivery from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and tracking milestones
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners to ensure clear communication and task alignment
- Maintain project documentation, manage permits, and support compliance efforts
- Assist with project scope management, risk evaluation, and handling project changes
- Participate in team meetings, review plans, and contribute to problem-solving across disciplines
- Visit project sites to monitor progress and support fieldwork
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, construction management, or related applied field
- Three (3) years of total experience in an applied science or construction field
- Comfort with basic budgeting, scheduling, and financial terms relevant to the project
- Experience with project scheduling, setting timelines and milestones, and using project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet
- Basic understanding of scope management, including how project scope is defined and controlled
- Comfort reviewing project plans, maps, and technical specifications
