Key Responsibilities
The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating production schedules across multiple manufacturing areas to support customer demand and operational objectives. This role requires close collaboration with Manufacturing, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, and Master Scheduling to ensure efficient production flow, schedule adherence, and timely resolution of material constraints.
The Production Scheduler manages production orders throughout the manufacturing process, including releasing, sequencing, prioritizing, and updating orders within SAP. This position also supports continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production performance, identifying scheduling risks, and driving actions that improve delivery performance, inventory management, and manufacturing efficiency.

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to support customer delivery requirements and organizational goals.
Manage production orders from release through completion, including prioritization, sequencing, and schedule adjustments.
Monitor daily production activity and resolve scheduling conflicts impacting delivery, capacity, or material availability.
Coordinate production schedule changes with Materials, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Master Scheduling teams.
Analyze material shortages, communicate impacts, and coordinate recovery actions to minimize disruption to production schedules.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure schedule execution and adherence to production priorities.
Maintain accurate SAP master data and production control parameters related to scheduling functions.
Review inventory levels, production capacity, and lead times to support effective planning and scheduling decisions.
Prepare and communicate production status reports, schedule performance metrics, and key constraints to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Support continuous improvement activities focused on production flow, schedule attainment, and operational efficiency.
Participate in problem-solving activities related to late orders, capacity constraints, and process inefficiencies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field desired.
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, supply chain, or related operations environment preferred.
Experience using ERP systems such as SAP preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Hourly range for this position is $25.55-$31.95.The specific Hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
