Grid Compliance Engineer

• We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Grid Compliance Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all projects meet grid code requirements and comply with relevant regulatory and technical standards.
• You will play a crucial role in supporting the connection of generation assets to the electrical network, working closely with internal teams, network operators and external stakeholders to deliver compliant and robust solutions.
• Ensure all designs and installations comply with applicable grid codes, standards and regulatory requirements
• Support grid connection applications, including G99/G100 processes and associated documentation
• Review and interpret grid compliance requirements and translate them into engineering deliverables
• Liaise with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and other stakeholders
• Coordinate and support grid compliance studies, including load flow, fault level and protection studies
• Assist in the preparation and review of technical documentation, including compliance reports and test procedures
• Support commissioning activities, including grid compliance testing and validation
• Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with grid connection and compliance
• Keep up to date with changes in grid codes, industry standards and best practice

You will be a technically capable engineer with strong analytical skills and a good understanding of grid connection requirements within the power or energy sector.
